Australian Basketball Players Love Medicine Hat

The Medicine Hat College Rattlers welcomed three players from Australia, who packed their belongings and moved to Medicine Hat in 2022 to join the basketball team.

Medicine Hat’s Chat News TV reported on the three individuals who were curious and eager to play in and explore the sunny city. Once the season ended, the three returned to Australia, but not without wishes to eventually move to Medicine Hat. Chat News TV quotes Jordan Biggar, “I’d love to stay in Medicine Hat. I want to get an education degree and teach here."

Cooper Ward, the team captain, said Medicine Hat is on the of the best places he's ever played. Chat TV quoted, "It’s always electric. Even if maybe the score isn’t the best, the fans are always still bumping."

The three players from Australia plan to move again in September, to join the Medicine Hat College Rattlers for the 2023-2024 basketball season.
